This policy explains what Monelo ("we", "us") collects when you use monelo.ai, why, and your choices. By using the site you agree to this policy.

What we collect

  • Your lease document and the location you choose — to produce your report.
  • Your email address — to send you the report and receipt.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Basic usage data — pages visited, approximate location, device/browser, and ad-related identifiers (see "Analytics & advertising").

Your lease documents

Your uploaded lease is processed only to generate your report.

  • Paid reports: the original lease text is deleted as soon as the analysis finishes. The report itself is kept only briefly.
  • Free previews: we keep the lease text for up to 24 hours so you can upgrade to the full report without re-uploading. After that window, the lease text is dropped automatically.

We never use your lease or report to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's. To produce the analysis we send the lease text to our AI provider (Anthropic) under terms that prohibit training on it.

How we use your information

  • To analyze your lease and deliver your report.
  • To email your report, receipt, and support replies.
  • To process your one-time payment.
  • To measure and improve the site, and to run advertising.
  • To meet legal obligations and prevent abuse.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and your email, but not your card details. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Email

We send transactional email (your report, receipts, support) via Resend.

Analytics & advertising

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people find us and to measure ad performance. This may set cookies and share limited, hashed event data with Meta. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta ad settings and tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance. Where required, we will ask for your consent before loading these tools.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for essential functionality and the advertising/analytics described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

Lease text from paid reports is deleted right after analysis. Lease text from a free preview is kept for up to 24 hours so you can upgrade, then dropped. Reports are retained only briefly. Payment and basic transaction records are kept as required for accounting and legal purposes.

International users & your rights

Monelo is available worldwide. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or other jurisdictions), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

Monelo is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll post the new version here with a revised date.
